Did anyone attend the Mikulski sale at Cherrystone?
I saw the catalogue -which was beautifully illustrated, and understand that the sale made over $1.3 million and yet I have not seen anything on the Samovar about it.
I would be interested in hearing about the auction from anyone who was there.
The auction was advertised in the Samovar on 24 November.

The prices realized are at:

Any idea who was there?
Where the material went?
How much went back to Russia?
Where the high prices just the result of a couple of rich buyers or were the winning bids evenly spread amongst a number of collectors?
Was there much of a presence from Europe?
The realisations only tell part of the story, I am interested in the current market dynamics so any information or observations are welcome
Brother Yozhik,
All excellent questions! I also would like to know the answers!!
